F A Q
WHO IS THIS CONFERENCE OPEN TO?
Both men and women are encouraged to attend! Teenagers aged 16 and older may attend. If you are a parent of kids under 16 years old, you are encouraged to come and learn how to effectively guide your child when talking about sex and pornography at home.
IS CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?
Childcare for children five years old and younger will be available for $10.00/child on Saturday, but not on Friday. You will need to pick your child up during lunch and check them back in for the afternoon sessions.
I HAVE A SEXUAL ADDICTION. WILL I HAVE TO OPEN UP TO OTHERS?
No, you will not be put in any positions where you may be exposed. This event is attended by people who struggle with an addiction and by people who don't, so showing up will not expose you in any way.
I DO NOT HAVE A SEXUAL ADDICTION. IS IT WORTH IT FOR ME TO COME?
Absolutely! This event is structured strategically to offer incredible value for everyone, whether you struggle to control your sexual behaviour or not. This is because we want to equip you with more than you need to confidently help a friend or a family member in need.
WHAT KIND OF IMPACT WILL THIS EVENT HAVE ON ME?
Of course, the impact will vary for each person. If you come in with a porn addiction, don't expect to leave totally cured. The purpose of the event is to teach each person to partner with God in staying free from sexual immorality and to have you leave inspired that you can do just that. You will also have access to many resources that you can take with you moving forward from the event. If you commit to implementing the things you learn from the day, then you can expect to experience freedom from your addiction in time.
IS FOOD PROVIDED?
Snacks will be provided throughout the whole day. For lunch you will be on your own.
If you're unable to attend, but would like audio recordings of each session, please send us an email at email@example.com. We will email you when they are ready. The package is $45, which is payable at that time. (Recordings will be FREE for attendees.)
Restored Ministries has a 'Boot Camp' available for people struggling with pornography
and other sexual addictions. You can work through eight film sessions and worksheets on a variety of topics related to getting you free from harmful sexual behaviour.
